Bring your family
to your father,
our father,
and in plain words
tell him
how he hurt you.
Do not couch
your words
like you feel
for his feelings
or cut him slack
blaming the drink
instead of his
alcoholism.
Some say,
Tough love.
Some say,
Intervention.
But the point is
to prove
that he does not
hold his liquor
as well as a bottle
and in fact
it cuts him
into jagged
pieces.
