Imagine if we treated
every missing woman
as if she were
Helen of Troy.
Imagine the
tens of thousands of times
a thousand ships launched
each year.
Oh you think this inconceivable
and point out
not all women are sired
by Zeus.
I say that is your
fundamental failing.
I beg you see all women
as children of the divine.
You refuse to search
complaining the effort costs too much.
Are the disappeared not
worth our collective devotion?
