This afternoon, instead of fluffy animals
the clouds formed Chinese characters.
In the woods through the branches
those characters looked more like Tolkien’s Tengwar script.
A person out on the sage mesa
reported the clouds to a local news station as Arabic.
Several people used their smartphones
with google translate in an effort to understand.
Meet in city square and join the chorus
was the most accepted message.
Scotty beamed everyone of those people away.
Wind swirled sheet music with the sharps and flats removed.
