In our modern world
it is difficult to build a family
without madness.
We are infected
with a fierce determination
to be self
irregardless of the bloodless deaths
or historical judgements
it causes.
Our genius
is the glory of cooperation
and forbearance.
We do not settle quietly
or quickly
into balance.
