Bombardment

The wheelbarrow transported
all the unexploded ordnance
the plow behind the horse
turned out of the ground.

We did not build a low wall
like the first time
we cleared the field
of old stones.

We parked the wheelbarrow
by the white springhouse.
Two more wheelbarrows
joined the first before we planted.

There was only one set
of old bones
the plow turned up
and three brass buttons.
